Hampton Inn Lexington South-Keeneland/Airport

Location was good near so many restaurants, many within walking distance. Check in was quick and she was very friendly. The room was clean, tv channels were enough, and the bed was very comfortable. Would of been 5 stars but the back edge of the tub was designed where you could not lay back in it. It’s a squared edge and would hurt your back or neck.

Shannon is such a sweetheart. All of the staff during my stay were really nice. Housekeeping kept this in order and gave us extra towels after swimming. The lady that works the breakfast was such a delight. Reminded me of family, especially during Thanksgiving. I’ll definitely add this place as a favorite when I visit KY.

This was a nice room for an older property. The front desk was very helpful, and I thought the room was nice. The AC filters had not been cleaned and were pretty dirty though. The bathroom was small (like older properties) but had been redone. I was surprised to see a $5 parking charge added to my receipt after I checked out. You wouldn't expect it for a suburban location, and it wasn't very obviously stated when I booked the room. Looking on the app, it wasn't anywhere in the rate or confirmation, but it was noted under the Parking Tab. So I was a little surprised. There was also some homeless dude that confronted you the minute you get out of your car, so I would like to think if a suburban property is going to charge for parking, they could provide security in the parking lot. Keep in mind that at no time was I asked if I had a car. So, if you come here via rideshare or cab, you still might get charged for parking. Just a little surprise that I didn't appreciate and didn't account for.

My Mom & I were on a road trip & found this gem of a location where we played cards in the lobby until after midnight with plenty of free hot coffee/tea/cocoa! My fur baby was welcomed & enjoyed every minute of our stress-free stay! Enjoy friends!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and wanted to give a special thanks to Mike and Shannon for their outstanding friendliness and hospitality. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and ensured my visit was comfortable and enjoyable. The property itself was very clean and well-maintained, showing a clear commitment to quality. The pricing was fair and reasonable, and the location couldn’t have been better. There are several great restaurants within walking distance, which made dining out super convenient. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

I try to stay at Hilton properties as they are pretty consistent and with traveling a lot it is nice to feel like you are in a familiar place. Lexington was missing/ overlooked a few things, but the customer service was outstanding. Kiersten, was truly one of the best front end people that has ever helped me with my stay. She is an incredible asset to the Hilton Family and she really cares about her customers. I would give her 6 stars. Excellent customer service!

December 2026: We booked a room that was dog friendly. When we arrived to the hotel, we were greeted by the clerk who gave us our room keys and did have us booked on the first floor, as we requested. Upon entering the room, we were pleasantly surprised. It looked like the room had been remodeled. Everything was new and fresh and clean. It was wonderful! At breakfast the next morning, the employee did a great job of getting us waffle batter and making sure the coffee was full. It wasn't busy, so we chatted a bit with her. She was just wonderful! December 2025: I believe that quality control has just about disappeared. The hotel was very clean and our room was, as well. The pool was an excellent shape, too.However, we were out of shampoo and conditioner in the room. We did not have cups for coffee or water. Everything that we needed was supplied. If they had checked the room beforehand, none of this would have been required for us to request. At breakfast, they were out of most of the food. There was no oil to spray on the waffle maker, so people's waffles were sticking terribly. They were out of coffee, too. Yet, three employees were standing chatting, not paying attention to the customers'needs. The housekeeper could not put down her phone to walk down the hallway. She ran into the wall and was surprised. She did say "hello" but never looked up from her phone. This is bad customer service. I believe if management was more proactive, trained the employees and held them accountable and built a sense of pride in the employees' work, there would not be these problems. I have stayed here many times and this is the first time that that hotel has not been up to par. I think, with better management and quality control, it can return to a good hotel.

I put some guys I work with in multiple hotels and all had problems. Came here and they have stayed here since. Awesome breakfast and hospitality.
